Want to be rewarded for exercising? Download the Kilometre Funding App whatever your fitness level. The App rewards you when walk, run or cycle with a donation to a charity of your choice sponsored by health promoting workplaces and brands. You will earn 10c for every km cycled and 20c for every km walked or run for charity using the App.
How does the App work?
1. Download the Kilometre Funding App
2. Follow the prompts to select a charity and activity type to start your session
3. Your distance is tracked by GPS and converted into funds earned in real time
4. When you finish, acknowledge the sponsorship and choose to share your achievement on social media
The Kilometre Funding App provides an innovative and equitable platform that engages sponsors and communities with charitable causes. You can participate in exercise, form teams, interact socially, improve your overall health and fundraise for charity of your choice by using the App.
The Kilometre Funding App has gone live and launched in partnership with Run4Autism and autism organisations from around Australia. Throughout February and March 2015 we will evaluate the App functionality and user experience without limitations. Be one of the first to download the Kilometre Funding App and start fundraising to support children and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The donations earned by users are funded through workplace sponsorship. Workplaces pledge sponsorship to a charity of their choice and can leverage from the functionality of the App to cost effectively implement an easy to use health promotion initiative for their employees, their family and friends, and customers.
